The Remodel — Restoring Balance

Other situations we work with are completed homes (new or old) perched amidst clay, rubble rock and thistles or older established gardens that are overgrown or contain water guzzling-plants.

If necessary, we will rebalance or recreate the natural contours of the land. We then bring in soils, rock and native plants to mimic the surrounding environment. We like to look for resources on your property. For example, you might wish to create a trail from the house to your pond area through the woods. Let’s recycle anything we can: ferns, rock or moss that have to go anyway. Do you have a fern grotto area? Let’s carefully remove a few ferns and replant them in the remodel. We look for opportunities to keep what is on your land right there.
