The Proposal

For a fee we develop a detailed design plan. We spend time on your land studying the available resources that can be saved and reused, as well as considering water issues, wind, and sun.

We then prepare a detailed narrative proposal, in phases, explaining our role throughout the construction process. In the case of a new home project, we start with site entry through the final native plant restoration around the house. In the remodel of an existing garden we look at opportunities for recycling and create a logical staging sequence.

If requested or necessary, we will include a site plan and landscape blueprint prepared by a licensed landscape architect illustrating our designs. For a less complex project we have found that simple sketches (we mean simple) work for many clients.

Our proposal will also contain estimated costs and a construction timeline. We collaborate with your architect, general contractor and excavation contractor to accomplish your goals.
